Psychoanalysis or the writing of life.
In a psychoanalysis, one talks about one's life. However, what is told never comes close to resembling the literary genre of autobiography. What then, makes talking about one's life, or even deciphering the lying truth on which one's account is based, not an autobiography in the end? Let us propose that interpretation and the deciphering of jouissance makes it impossible. In this talk we are going to interrogate the difference between an autobiography and a psychoanalysis in order to grasp the uniqueness of an analytical experience.
